Okay. This will be the official website for my "I'm moving to Zambia and need a forum to write about all of the inane stories which I will inevitably want to tell but won't want to write seperate e-mails to everyone I knoe" blog.
I have to admit that I am extremely excited about the name I chose for this blog. It's a quote from one of the greatest shows of all time, Boy Meets World. I think the reference is great on several different levels. One, I think it is appropriate that a blog written by me does not have a formal address like markgiganti.blogspot.com( note: This is actually the Mark Giganti Fan Club website), but rather a reference to a television show I used to watch religiously at 2 a.m. in the morning. If my insistance on a BMW reference isn't indicitive of my reluctance to lose American pop culture and foreshadowing of the culture shock I'll be experiencing in a few days, I don't knoe what is. I also like it because of the loose parallel between living in a foreign country (Zambia) and 'trouble in the Balkans'. It makes alot more sense in my head then typed out, so please just trust me.
I'll attempt to include a YouTube link to the BMW episode. Enjoy!
